A development model through beekeeping
Our approach is focused on the growth of the local economy and the increase in purchasing power of our partner beekeepers. We participate in the pre-financing of hives and equipment for our beekeepers, in collaboration with (inter)national NGOs. This assistance is essential in very poor rural areas (less than $2 of daily income) where a long-term investment is unthinkable, and daily survival remains the top priority.
A social model
We carefully select our partner villages, prioritizing collaboration with a limited number of beekeepers who own or wish to own several hundred hives to ensure sustainable economic activity. If they meet our requirements, we commit to purchasing their honey at a pre-set price. This high demand for quality values the artisan's work and allows for a high-end positioning, generating income that ensures the project's longevity.
A quality product
With 50 hives, a Malagasy beekeeper enters the middle class, can feed his family, and send his children to school.
After initial training, our beekeepers are accompanied on a daily basis throughout the partnership. This ensures flawless traceability and a very precise quality standard.
