2. Application of the General Terms and Conditions of Sale

Any order for a product listed on the website www.compagniedumiel.com implies prior consultation of these general terms and conditions of sale (hereinafter the "GTC"). Compagnie du Miel reserves the right to adapt or modify these terms and conditions at any time, with the version of the GTC applicable to any transaction being the one appearing online on the website www.compagniedumiel.com at the time of the order.

3. Validity of Offers

Our offers are intended for consumers with a physical delivery address in Europe. The items displayed on the website are available until stocks are exhausted. The validity period of the offers and prices is guaranteed for 8 days. In the event of a debit or payment for an unavailable item, Compagnie du Miel undertakes to offer either an available alternative product, a credit note, or a refund to the Customer within 15 days. Compagnie du Miel agrees to notify by email the Customer who has placed an order for an unavailable item.

4. Presentation of Products

The products offered for sale are those described on the Site. Compagnie du Miel takes great care in presenting and describing these products to best satisfy the Customer's information. However, non-substantial errors may occur on the Site, which the customer acknowledges and accepts. In any case, in the event of non-compliance of the product delivered with its description on the Site, the Customer may either exercise their right of withdrawal or invoke the conformity guarantee of Compagnie du Miel, which will proceed, if necessary, with an exchange or refund of the price (in whole or in part) if applicable.

5. Product Prices

The price is expressed in euros including VAT. The price indicated on the product sheets does not include shipping. The price indicated in the order confirmation is the final price, expressed all taxes included and including shipping and VAT. This price includes the prices of the products, handling, packaging, and storage fees, as well as transport and commissioning fees.

6. Secure Payment Order

6.1 : Payment

The customer confirms their order as described below. This confirmation implies acceptance of these general terms and conditions of sale. The customer interested in a product displayed on the Compagnie du Miel website follows the following process to place an order. After clicking on the "confirm" icon and verifying the details of their order (flavor, quantity, weight, price, etc.), the customer confirms the selection of the chosen product(s) by clicking. On their first order, the customer must fill out a form containing the following information: title, last name, first name, complete delivery address, email, date of birth, and phone number. The customer has the option to pay by credit card directly on the website. After confirming the payment, the customer definitively and irrevocably validates their order with the effects indicated below.

6.2 : Default of Payment

Compagnie du Miel reserves the right to refuse delivery or honor an order from a consumer who has not fully or partially paid a previous order or with whom a payment dispute is being processed.

6.3 : Payment Verification

Compagnie du Miel verifies all orders that have been confirmed on its website. These checks aim to protect Compagnie du Miel from abusive practices carried out by fraudsters. Our services may ask you to provide all necessary documents to unlock your order: proof of address or debit in your name, or proof of address in the name of the person indicated for the delivery address, etc. These requests may be made by email:

For an order with a delivery address different from the billing address

For new customers

7. Delivery

Delivery is made by directly handing over the product to the designated recipient, or in case of absence, to the nearest post office.

Any delays do not entitle the buyer to claim damages. Upon delivery, any issues must be reported to the delivery person, and in the case of anomalies, the customer must make a note on the delivery slip. Without complying with this obligation, no further action can be taken.

Compagnie du Miel cannot be held responsible for any possible product deterioration in case of late delivery due to the customer's absence.

Delivery times depend on the destination.

The date is guaranteed, except in cases of force majeure or transport strikes, provided that the delivery address is accurate, precise, and complete, and provided that the person receiving the order is present at the time of delivery.

The delivery time takes into account the preparation time at Compagnie du Miel's warehouse, as well as the carrier's transit time.

During peak periods (Valentine's Day, Easter, Christmas), order preparation and delivery times may be extended.

If an item were to become unavailable, Compagnie du Miel cannot guarantee the delivery time.

In the event of difficult weather conditions (heavy snowfall, flooding, etc.), shipments and deliveries may be disrupted.

By Colissimo and Relais Colis:

Preparation time: 2 working days.

Transit time: 2 to 5 working days.

Total delivery time from the date of order confirmation: 4 to 7 working days.

Special case of Corsica: carrier transit time is extended by 1 to 2 days.

Special case of overseas departments and territories (DOM-TOM): carrier transit time is extended by 2 to 4 days.

Orders placed on Saturday and Sunday are processed on Monday or Tuesday, depending on available stock.

Warehouse working days: Monday to Friday, excluding public holidays.

Carrier working days: Monday to Saturday, excluding public holidays.

8. Return / Exchanges.

Without prejudice to the legal provisions regarding product conformity or hidden defects, the Customer has a period of 14 clear days from the receipt of the ordered Product(s) to exercise their right of withdrawal with Compagnie du Miel, without having to justify reasons or pay any penalty.

To exercise their right, the Customer must send an email to thibaut@compagniedumiel.comand return, at their own expense, the Product(s):

unopened,

with their packaging clean and intact,

to the following address: 102 avenue des Champs Elysées, 75008 PARIS.

Compagnie du Miel reserves the right to refuse a refund if either of the above conditions is not met.

The refund for the returned Product(s) will be made by Compagnie du Miel through a credit to the Customer's credit card or in the form of a voucher, according to the Customer's choice, and no later than 30 days following the date on which the right of withdrawal was exercised.

9. Handling of undelivered packages by our transport provider

These are the packages that have not been delivered to the final recipient for the following reasons: NPAI (No Longer at This Address), unclaimed, refused, transport damage, theft...

9.1 Returns due to "address unknown" (NPAI): These are packages returned by the delivery service with the mention "Does not live at the address indicated". After receiving and accepting your package, Compagnie du Miel will contact the customer to resend their order ( shipping costs borne by the customer) if the product is still available , or proceed with the refund according to the customer's preference. Compagnie du Miel reserves the right to proceed with the refund instead of resending the order in case multiple instances of "adress unkown" are indentified

9.2 Returns due to "unclaimed": These are packages that were not claimed by the customer at the post office or at the designated pickup point within the pecified time frame. After receiving and accepting your package Compagnie du Miel will contact the customer to resend their order ( shipping costs borne by the customer) if the product is still available , or proceed with the refund according to the customer's preference. Compagnie du Miel reserves the right to proceed with the refund instead of resending the order in case multiple instances of "unclaimed" are indentified.

10. Responsability

Compagnie du Miel implements all necessary measures to ensure the Client's provision of quality products under optimal conditions. However, under no circumstances shall it be held responsible for any non-performance or improper execution, in whole or in part, of the services provided under the contract, which can be attributed either to the Client, an unforeseeable and insurmountable event caused by a third party unrelated to the contract, or a force majeure event. In general, if Compagnie du Miel's liability were to be engaged, it shall in no event accept to compensate the client for indirect damages or damages whose existence and/or quantum are not established by evidence.

Compagnie du Miel ensures the proper functioning of the Website but cannot guarantee that it will be free from anomalies or errors, or that it will function without interruption. Therefore, it cannot be held responsible for any type of damage arising from the use or total or partial inability to use the Website. Similarly, Compagnie du Miel disclaims any responsibility for the content of third-party websites accessible through hypertext links on the Website.

All elements of the Website, whether visual or auditory, including the underlying technology, are protected by copyright, trademarks, and patents. The applicable law is French law. In the event of a dispute between Compagnie du Miel and any third party arising from this website, the competent jurisdiction shall be the one in which the registered office of Compagnie du Miel is located.
